31st International Gallery of Superb Printing

 

Minneapolis, MN USA, March 1, 2006 The 31st International Gallery of Superb printing presented more than 2500 entries from around the globe to its International jurors August 11-13 in Jacksonville, Florida, USA. The competition is devoted to the principles of honoring excellence in the graphic arts by Celebrating Craft, Applauding Art and Showcasing Science. Throughout its development as a prestigious graphic arts competition, the International Gallery has been proudly produced by the International Association of Printing House Craftsmen, Inc. (IAPHC), a trade association with thousand of individual members around the world.

In 2005, entries originating in Australia, Britain, China, Holland, Honk Kong, Israel, Italy, Korea, Lithuania, Mexico, New Zealand, The Cayman Islands, and Singapore joined hundreds of other entrants from around North America in competing for honors including Best of the Best awards.

Penmar Industries, Inc. of Norwalk, Connecticut received a Silver Award for a label produced for Unitec Manufacturing and a Bronze Award for a label printed for Allergy Control Products. Penmar Industries, Inc. had received other awards in the years 1997, 2000 and 2001.

The International Gallery of Superb Printing has become one of the premier printing events in the world. Due to the numerous local galleries, entries received from around the world and the Best of the Best Awards Ceremonies at the IAHPC Mid Year Meeting, the total number of entries has increased to over 2500, as individuals and companies vie for world-wide recognition. The specific expertise of International Gallery entrants leaps time zones and geographic borders.
